Your total Tubing experience will take between 3 to 4 hours,
depending upon river conditions.

All trips are subject to weather and high-water levels, please check weather and river conditions before you leave home.
Trip times are based upon a consistent leisurely paddle.

We Reserve the right to change hours or guidelines when deemed necessary.

            Kayak – Canoe – Paddleboard trips include:  Boat or Board, paddles, life jacket, shuttle, use of private landing, free key check & parking. 

Below are answers to Frequently Asked Questions

We try very hard to maintain a family friendly environment.  For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests we may check coolers – alcohol is limited.  Please keep our great natural resource beautiful!  Bring all your trash back with you and please be respectful of others that are using the river.

You must be 18 years old to go tubing/paddling without a parent/guardian and Country Camping’s signed waiver.  You must be 16 years old to go tubing/paddling with Country Camping’s waiver signed by a parent/guardian and a valid ID to verify age.

Yes, children must be at least 3 years old and up to 10 years old, they must wear a life jacket for the entire trip.

For the comfort of your child/ren, please bring your own proper fitting jacket for all children and non-swimmers.

Tubing:  No. Please bring your own, they are not provided while tubing.
Kayak, Canoes & Paddleboard’s:  Yes.  Life Jackets are provided. We recommend that you always wear your lifejackets and follow the MN Boating Regulations.

Yes, you may provide your own small floating cooler or small personal item basket.  These small items may be brought onto the shuttle.  Remember, to be responsible and limit the use of alcoholic beverages, and bring lots of hydrating fluids, (like water).

No, Visitors may not bring their own tube.

No, the parking, shuttle and landing are for paid Guests only.  If you’ve got your own stuff, you will not be able to use our private landing

No, sorry, the shuttle is to transport reqistered people & equipment only.

No… We do not allow the public to use our property/shuttle/landing without going through our outfitters and having the proper ticket.  Those that do not have the proper ticket, will not be able to park a car or use our PRIVATE Landing.  Vehicles are subject to tow at owners’ expense and Trespassers will be prosecuted.

For our camping guests: We do not transport personal tubes/floats.  Visitors of our camping guests may not bring their personal tubes/floats.

Yes, we do provide transport for you and your equipment with an online reservation.

It is a River. Conditions are always moving and changing. It is always your responsibility to take care of yourself and others that accompany you. The Rum River is a designated Level 1 Wild and Scenic river with a sandy bottom of varying depths.

Please return with all your personal items, cans, bottles & containers.

  • Not Allowed:
    • Glass or Styrofoam Containers
    • We reserve the right to inspect all items.
    • No excessive use of alcohol or lewd obnoxious behavior.

Yes, you may bring your dog.  We will provide transportation for your well-behaved leashed dog as long as all people on the shuttle are okay with having an animal on board.  If there is anyone with ANY objections, you will be provided a ride on the next available shuttle.  Dogs must be current on all shots, leashed, picked up after and owners are responsible for any damage that may be created by their dog.
